Match RECAP:  SSC 91 Boys Blue

As this was our first game after a month lay-off we were a bit rusty to say the least. So the early part of the game was pretty even with play moving up and down the pitch with few chances created by either team. Finally in the twentieth minute we moved the ball up field and found Max openabout twenty five yards out. He took a touch and pushed a nice ball into space for Patrick to strike and score as he was falling down. This awakened us and within a minute had the second goal from Jamie  with an assist from Blaise. That completed the scoring in the first half.  Early in the second half , Dylan ,found some space about thirty yards out and crossed a nice ball to Jamie.  Jamie controlled the ball on the run and fired a powerful shot into the upper- ninty for a three goal lead. We continued to control the tempo of the game and scored our fourth goal when Corey got behind the defense and slid the ball to Dylan in the six-yard box who finished it nicely. We finished out the game by spreading the ball around and denying them any chances to get back into the game. Cauley had another shutout in goal and was never really tested.
