Match RECAP:  SSC 91 Boys Blue
This was a nice win for us to finish out the regular season undefeated. The only blemish on our record was a tie with Columbia early in the season. It was a beautiful day for football and we started well, scoring our first within ten minutes. The ball was knocked about just outside the box when Patrick got a touch to get the ball to Max. Max took a touch to get the ball set up for his powerful left foot shot to the lower right corner of the net. Our second came a little later when again the ball was bouncing around in the six yard area. Jamie got the touch that put the ball across the face of the goal where Max used his head for his second of the day. From that point on we were in a game and came close to conceding a goal when they hit the post on  some good work in front of the goal. Cauley was forced to make some nice saves and Matt cleared off the line to keep our fifth shutout in a row intact. In the second half our defense was up to the task with Spencer playing well at right marking back. Overall this was not one of our best games with a lot of sloppy lazy play all over the field. We will need to pick our game up in next week's tournament to be successful.  Sergio Rosas made his debut in goal in the second half combining with Cauley on the shutout. This league season has flown past as we have completed our ten game regular season as league champions.
